In keeping with the Carnival theme, the Vernon Museum will be assembling displays that feature early kitchen implements, tools and processes. The history behind a few pioneer recipes will accompany the displays along with a “What is it?” Contest for unusual objects found in the 19th century kitchens. Demonstrations of apple peelers will also be in place.

“What’s Cooking ?” is a comedy mystery of the zaniest order, full of twists and turns and just crazy stuff. The cast of 8 includes Jackson Mace (musician/actor/writer) who will treat the audience to some familiar tunes as well as some new ones. He also plays a role along with Mr. Phil Wagner the writer/director/designer of this new “What’s Cooking?” comedy. Expect to be drawn into the play since some of the characters will magically appear from the audience.
Not recommended for children, but thoroughly okay for the whole family, and the food will be delicious.
