Arrest the Best

Time: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Admission: $20.00 an arrest, plus bail money
Arrange to have you BEST friend or BOSS arrested. The jail will arrive at your place of business. Pictures of jail time will be taken upon payment of bail. Your arrested BEST will be released into your custody. Call the Carnival Office to arrange your Arrest 250-545-2236
Free Lessons at Cheek to Cheek Dance Studio

Free Singles SALSA lessons. So much fun your cheeks will hurt. Just show up at the scheduled time ready to have a good time dancing. Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. They love two left feet.
Broom Ball Tournament

The best, most outrageous sporting event is back for another year in Downtown Vernon. Registered teams will participate in an outdoor Broom Ball tournament on 30th Avenue Downtown. Teams compete for an official trophy. Come down and cheer for your favourite team! As I type this I am glad I stretched out after our Century 21 win over The Morning Star yesterday. Back at it today at 12:15 to take on The City of Vernon!
Jam Can Curling

Fun filled event for grades four and five students in School District #22. Fair play, fun, team spirit and meeting new friends is what makes this event so successful.
Sugar Science - How Sweet it is

The white stuff we know as sugar is actually a molecule comprised of 12 atoms of carbon, 22 atoms of hydrogen and 11 atoms of oxygen (C12H22O11) Explore the science of sugar by conducting some sweet experiments. Suitable for Ages 10 and up.
Kitchen Chemistry (we do the dishes)

Other past Good citizens will be in attendance. Silver Star Rotary Police award, as in previous years will be awarded to a police officer who has made a special contribution to the community.

In keeping with the Carnival theme, the Vernon Museum will be assembling displays that feature early kitchen implements, tools and processes. The history behind a few pioneer recipes will accompany the displays along with a “What is it?” Contest for unusual objects found in the 19th century kitchens. Demonstrations of apple peelers will also be in place.
Ladies Day Snowshoe Tour & Lunch
