Last Week In Real Estate Nov. 4, 12

Here is a brief overview for Residential MLS Sales October  28 - November 4, 2012:

In the North Okanagan (Vernon BC and area) residential MLS real estate sector last week, 25 properties sold for a combined value of $6,444,200. Average sale price was $257,768 - which is low. Prices ranged from $16,000 - $590,000 and average days to sell came in at 213 - which is higher than what we have been seeing. Property details are available here

In the Central Okanagan (Kelowna BC and area) 60 sales were reported by REALTORS between Oct. 28 and Nov. 4, 2012. Combined sales totalled $25,319,039. Average sale price was $421,984 and average days on the market was 112. That was a drop of 9 transactions from the week prior in Kelowna area real estate, but a rise in the average sale price.

Up in the Shuswap, (Revelstoke, Salmon Arm and areas) 16 property sales were reported. Total sales equalled $4,486,600 and days on the market averaged 179.  Average sales price dropped   from $284,890 last week to $280,413. Total number of sales in the Shuswap dropped by 4 from the week prior.
